Many Ways to Volunteer!
- Be a Reader – Volunteer to read to preschool students, once a month from October through April. This takes about 2 hours a month, depending on the commute time.
- Be a Sticker Applier – Volunteer to put stickers on the cover of each book, about 500/month. The sticker has the First Books logo and a place for the child’s name.
- Be an inventory taker – Volunteer to count books, this happens two times per year. When new books are ordered, a total count is taken to ensure that there are enough.
- Be a book mover – Volunteer to deliver books. This requires that each month the correct number of books are delivered to the readers.
